After planning our sequence we had to start filming which was a fun but long process. To film we needed:

  • Camera

  • Props

  • The Setting to be Empty and Dark

  • SD card

  • Mobile Phones (for lighting)

  • Costumes

  • Our Actor

Some health and safety risks my group and I had to make sure of were:

  • Our setting had to clear so our character could run without tripping

  • The tables that were stood on, to get a high angle, were sturdy

  • Chairs were moved around in the classroom so nobody would trip when filming

During the filming process I learnt that certain scenes should be filmed with a tripod. All of our footage is handheld and although it looks good in some scenes, others would have been better with a tripod.

We also learnt to film the same scene in several different shots so that there is more option when it comes round to editing.

There was also the issue of lighting. When we re-filmed some scenes the lighting was different. During the darker scenes our camera had a automatic light but after changing camera we no longer had that. We resolved this by using our mobile phone flashlights.
