What Have You Learnt About Technologies From the Process of Constructing this Product?
Advantages and Disadvantages
Some of the advantages of using Premiere Pro is that two members of our group, myself included, knew how to use the program already. I knew how to cut the footage and add music and sound effects to the sequence. The other two learnt how to do the things that I didn't know how to so we all had a equal input.
Garageband was a good program to use as we got many useful sound effects from it that we used in our sequence. We could all use Garageband easily even though we had very little knowledge on how the program worked.
Some of the disadvantages of using Premiere Pro is the footage kept coming up in errors and had to be fixed several times. Another issue was that no-one in the group knew how to use After-Effects so we had to use Premiere Pro instead. This was fine but we would have prefered to have learnt how to use After-Effects.
Unfortunatly Garageband did not offer many horror loop effects to make a soundtrack we we had to find royalty free music instead. Although we would have preferred to make music in Garageband the horror loops were either too gentle or too intense.
